Robert William Hall

"Bobby A.C." Hall So anyways, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Father, Papa, Great Papa, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He passed on September 5, 2022 at home surrounded by family and loved ones capping off 83 years of life. He is the son of the late James J. Hall, Margaret (Adams) Hall and Marie (Bishop) Hall. He was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Eileen A. (Doyle) Hall. After 14 years they are now reunited in eternity. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret (Sis) Raymond and brother Ronald Adams. Brother-in-laws Gregory Raymond Sr., Louis, Gore, Jose and Jimmy Doyle. Sister-in-laws Frances Kelly, Daisy Mason, Helen MacIsaac, Uncle and Aunt Howie Sr. and Joan Hoadley. So anyway, he is survived by his sons Joe (ue), Timberlea and Tony , (Hfx). Daughter in law Lynn (Hfx). Grandchildren Jaylynn, Anthony, Owin, Braiden and great granddaughter Emma. Sister Marlene (Bill) Dove and several nieces and nephews that loved and adored him. Special mention to Aunt Sheryl MacKenzie, 92 years and going. "My God Boy" So anyway, Bob retired from the School Board after 3 decades of service working alongside his late brother-in-laws Richard Kelly (QEH) and Louis Murphy, (St, Stephens, Highland Park) He was a member of the PLF and the Halifax Rifles in his youth. He was a member of the Legion Vimy 27, until his passing. So anyway, Robert went by a lot of names, Bob, Grapes, Uncle Bobby Socks, bobby "No Knees" and notoriously Bobby A.C. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, cards and slots. He loved being around family and being at all his grandkids sporting events. Braving some of the coldest rinks and fields in Eastern Canada to cheer them on. So anyway, he likes the occasional drink, who am I kidding, he'd never shy away from a drink or 4. He was a party animal and never left the dance floor unless he was ready for a refill. His "Hippy, Hippy" moves will forever be missed. His love of the Montreal Canadians was evident right to his last moment rocking his colors. So anyway, his last days were how and what he wanted to do. He did what he enjoyed and he rocked it for 11 days doing it his way, with a smile on his face and surrounded by love. We lost one tough Super Hero. He got knocked down many times over last few years ,but always rose up, but this time he chose to rest. So anyway, through the lips and through the gums. Watch out stomach, here it comes.
