Doris Maxine Wall Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

It is with great sadness that on May 18, 2022, the family of Doris Maxine Wall (nee Caudle) said goodbye to their beloved mother, age 93. She peacefully passed away in Melville Gardens, Halifax, N.S. Mom waited until all 6 children had one last opportunity to visit her that day, before departing to spend eternity with her Heavenly Father. Mom was born in Truro, N.S. to the late Roy and Myrtle Caudle. She was predeceased by our father, Joseph Andrew Wall and brothers Cecil and Eddie. She is survived by her six children, Kathy Tanner (Mark); Nancy Field (Dennis); Patricia McCallum (Peter); Michael (Carol); David (Greta) and Kevin (Greg), 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She dedicated her life to caring for her children and our home that was always filled with the wonderful aroma of her home cooking. She loved her family, treasured family gatherings, and always found something to laugh and smile about. Mom enjoyed making crafts and participating in the seniors’ gatherings at St. Stephen’s Church. Our deepest appreciation to the staff of Melville Gardens and the QE2 unit 7.4 for taking such wonderful care of our Mother. It was heart warming to see how quickly she developed friendships with the other residents and staff at Melville Gardens. A funeral Mass will take place at St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 6032 Normandy Drive, Halifax on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. Mom will be dearly missed and will remain forever in our hearts.
