Jeremy Dylan Hart
November 30, 1986 - March 13, 2022
Jeremy Dylan Hart Age 35, Windsor Junction. With hearts full of love and grief we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother and uncle, Jeremy, on March 13, 2022. He was born with a zest for life in Halifax on November 30, 1986, to Paige Lewis (Foggoa) and Dean Hart. He had so many skills that the phrase should be renamed "Jeremy of all trades". There wasn’t a field of work he wasn’t willing to try and when he did he gave it his all. A quick learner and eager worker, he was always the hardest working guy on every crew. His construction career began at the ripe age of four when he insisted on bringing the road crew working on his street lunch and cold drinks. After that they made him an honorary member of their team. At 18, he headed out West to the oil fields doing "glycoltration", later becoming a certified rope access technician. That work took him from coast to coast across the country he loved, doing many jobs which found him with his head high in the clouds at the top of a windmill, hanging under a bridge, rappelling down the side of a cliff or climbing the racks in the oil fields. His combination of fearless bravery, carefree attitude and thrill-seeking took him on more adventures than most experience in a hundred years. Along with being a level 1 rope access tech he was a construction worker, roofer, silviculturist, insulator and most recently a fisherman, checking one more thing off his bucket list. His greatest job and the one he’ll be most remembered for, was unpaid comedian. He was always ready with a perfectly-timed joke or witty one-liner to lighten the mood and make everyone laugh. It was his quick sense of humor, charming smile and energetic personality that drew people to him. He made friends from all walks of life everywhere he went. A big kid at heart himself he had a special relationship with his nephews. He was generous, caring, the first to lend a hand and give you whatever he had. He did nothing on a small scale, everything was all or nothing. Whether it was work, food, the party, his play list volume or gift giving, he lived by the motto Go Big or Go Home. He leaves a void in this world that can never be filled. He is survived by sons, Phoenix in Newfoundland and Nikkolas in Alberta; mother, Paige Lewis, Elmsdale; father, Dean Hart, White’s Lake; sister, Alana Lewis; brother-in-law, Nick Marshall; nephews, Maksim and Merrick, Windsor Junction; and brother, Cory Hart, Elmsdale. Also surviving are special aunt and uncle, Margaret (Foggoa) and Sonny LeCain; uncle, Garth Foggoa; close cousins, Nick LeCain, Sara Keyes and Heather LeCain along with their families. Also left to remember him are friends who are like family, Dan and Sacha Hanrahan, Melissa Mosher, Shamus Synder and Devan Graham; as well as far too many to name. Jeremy was predeceased by best friend, Nate Hudson. The family would like to thank Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Search and Rescue and Canadian Coast Guard for their rescue efforts and providing closure. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in Royal Canadian Legion, 2234 Rocky Lake Dr., Waverley on Friday March 25th at 11 a.m. All welcome.
