John Albert Ward

January 11, 1951 - September 8, 2021

Ward, Johnny Albert John Albert Ward, 70, of Glenholme, NS passed away peacefully in Colchester Hospital with his family by his side on Sept 8, 2021. John’s girls were his whole life, he loved them with all his heart and will remain dearly remembered by those who knew him as a kind and caring person. John was well known in the community, he worked for many years at Harold Lewis' Irving and later for Lewis Repairs. He also enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing and hunting in his spare time. You could also find John on a Saturday night dancing, as we all know he was quite the dancer. This one is for you John Boy (Bee Gees "One "). John is survived by his loving family, oldest Brother to Leonard (Diane Chafe) and Tony (Heather Lewis). Father to Tonya (Jeff Davis), Debert, NS and Anita (Stephen Walbourne) Fogo Island, NL, and companion Heather Randle. Grandfather to Santana (Dallas) AB, Montana (Tom) AB, Elijah, Piper (NS) and Kohen, Kane, Kasen (NL). Great grandfather to Briar and Leighton (AB). John was predeceased by Wife Deborah (Howard) Ward, Mother Myrtle (Otterson) Ward, Father Roy, and Grandmother Leta. A graveside ceremony will be held Thursday, Sept 16 at 1:00pm at Glenholme Cemetery followed by a celebration of life at the family home in Glenholme right next door to the cemetery. Please drop by. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stoke foundation as requested by family.
