Sean Roger Taylor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

TAYLOR, Sean Roger-June 20, 1975-May 27, 2022 Following a courageous battle with cancer, for which he always stood up to face its many challenges with a good spirit, has passed away peacefully at his home in Enfield, surrounded by family and friends. Sean graduated with honours from the West Kildonan Collegiate in Winnipeg, where he spent some of his teenage/young adult years, but his home was always Nova Scotia, to where he moved back to, and always had fond memories of his childhood in River John. Sean worked for a number of years as a private investigator, which is what he was doing for work when he met the love of his life, his wife of 15 years, Cindy. Their love brought Sean his son, Jacob, whom he cherished so much. As a family, they would enjoy many outdoor activities, and Sean was especially fond of 4-wheeling, and later, once he got his jeep, going “jeeping” on the back roads. When life dictated a career change was needed, with Cindy and his family backing him, he dove headfirst back to school to become a truck driver. He really enjoyed this career over the last couple of years but it was taken too soon. Sean is predeceased by maternal grandparents, Gary Taylor and Jeanne, and paternal grandparents, George and Cleta Spicer. He is survived by wife Cindy and son, Jacob; parents, Roger and Liz (Taylor) Spicer; in-laws, Pat and Wendy Woods (to whom he was also close to); brothers, Dara (Karla) Spicer, Darren (Stacy) Spicer; sisters, Melissa (Jody) Pretty, Caroline (Lorne) MacKinnon, Kim (Derek) MacKenzie; special uncle, Pete (Claudia) LeClerc; and many nieces and nephew. The family extends special thanks to Dr. Smith, Dr. Henderson, Dawn (RN), VON, and oncology team. Also special thanks to his wife, Cindy, for her care and devotion to him throughout this difficult journey. His strength was immeasurable. Cremation has taken place as per his wishes and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
