Kenneth "Kenny" James Nazer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth “Kenny” James Nazer, who passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on July 4, 1942, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Kenny lived a full and meaningful life devoted to his family, friends, work, and community. Known for his strong work ethic, Kenny continued working until August 2024, retiring at the remarkable age of 82. Kenny was the beloved husband of Joyce and a devoted father to Lynne, Faye (James), Glenn (Nancy), and daughter-in-law Nancy Nazer. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Lisa, Kevin (Julia), Justine (Adam), Jenna (Chris), Tori (Garrett), Allison (Desmond), Meghan, Ryan, and Ava. He shared a special bond with his granddaughter Alicia. Kenny was also a cherished great-grandfather to Alexis, Jackson, Lennon, Luca, and Sutton. Kenny was predeceased by his beloved son Michael, his son-in-law Howie, and many other cherished family members. A dedicated member of the community, Kenny volunteered with the local food bank and was a proud member of Vimy Legion Branch 27 for many years. His generosity, dedication to service, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Kenny enjoyed bowling, playing darts, and spending time with family and friends. He was known for his quick wit, friendly nature, and the simple pleasures that brought him joy—including his favorite cold ham sandwiches, which became something of a trademark among those who loved him. These everyday moments are among the memories his family will cherish most. Family was always at the heart of Kenny’s life. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, or simply enjoying time together, he made those around him feel loved and valued. His legacy of hard work, kindness, humor, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
